April, 2008--THIS WEB SITE IS UNDER RECONSTRUCTION FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MANY YEARS. Please be patient with us. All our homes are open and boarding dogs.
At Canine Campovers your dog spends day and night in the loving, licensed and inspected private home of one of OUR Caregivers while you travel. Boarding doesn’t get any more personal than this !!
Our Caregivers are the creme de le creme of responsible doglovers in the metro Denver/Boulder/Fort Collins area, screened with exceptional care for integrity, safety, attention to detail and commitment to each dog's well-being. You and your dog make a Meet-n-Greet visit to the home of your Caregiver at the time of reservations. You get to leave their home with the beginning of a personal relationship that often lasts for years. Dogs who stay with us frequently generally develop relationships with two of our Caregiver homes.
For a Campover a dog has to be socialized, spayed or neutered, have basic vaccinations(rabies and the distemper combo), good house manners, no aggressive or destructive habits and be continent of bowels and bladder. We do accept titers (conclusive lab work) for immunity, in lieu of vaccinations, but this can take several weeks, so do plan ahead. We can accommodate some special needs in our Campover homes. Call us and let's talk. Each Caregiver only cares for 1-3 dogs at a time, making our exceptional level of TLC possible.
For safety reasons we cannot board escape artists. For the well-being of other Campover dogs and the integrity of our Caregivers' households we cannot board habitual barkers(unless your dog has a citronella collar that is effective), extremely dominant dogs or dogs with any history of marking indoors.
Boarding is what we do beautifully. We have been licensed and insured, boarding the most beloved of Front Range four-legged family members since 1998. We are happy to make referrals to other reputable businesses if you need day care or a petsitter to make visits for a dog that is unable to settle into one of our homes.
Rates are as follows: $36/day for most dogs $40/day for puppies before their first birthday and special-needs dogs 10% discount for multiple dogs from one home No hidden fees. No extra cost for walks or for simple meds and supplements at mealtimes.
Each dog must be available for a Meet-n-Greet visit at the time of reservation. We cannot make long-distance reservations. You and your dog meet your Caregiver right away, to be sure everyone is pleased with the match.
If you are a potential Caregiver looking for more information about working with Canine Campovers, please visit our "Becoming a Caregiver" page.
We are locally-owned and operated by Cheri Hoffer and Pugsley, who are also part of our team of Caregiver homes.
Reconstruction means that this site is changing daily. The finished site will have an impressive array of pet-related links, a local events page, a PetLane products page and a rotating gallery of photos of our Campers in action!! Please visit frequently to follow our progress. Click here (click will be live later in April). In the meantime, use the Contact Us tab to email Canine Campovers to be added to our email newsletter and to receive updates when we bring on board a Caregiver close to you. Email address privacy is assured. |
